  • Leads small-to-medium sized engineering projects or manages technical work packages within cost and quality requirements as assigned.
  • Allocates or coordinates work with the project or work package.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert and influencer to make complex decisions based on advanced analytical expertise providing innovative solutions and supporting the decision-making process.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Computer Science/Acoustic Engineering or appropriate field.
  • Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance. Security clearances are granted to U.S. citizens.
  • 5 or more years of experience leading engineering or scientific teams.
  • 10 or more years of experience working as an engineer.
  • Experience working in the defense industry.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
  • Experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM).
  • Experience with Microsoft Project.
  • Experience with underwater acoustics and/or sonar systems.
  • Experience with RADAR systems.
  • Experience with underwater instrumentation such as sonar and acoustic arrays.
  • Experience with electrical and mechanical systems, including debugging.
  • Experience working with Agile, Surround, or other configuration management tools.
  • Proficient in time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience leading teams to execute complex tasks.
  • Willingness to work on the team to help complete work.
