Stantec is seeking a Project Engineer - Roadway in our Clearwater, Florida office. We seek a team player who desires a highly collaborative work environment, has excellent client and communication skills, and strong design capabilities. We seek a candidate with expertise with highly complex and specialized roadway and drainage design including limited access tolled and non-tolled facilities and arterial roadway design. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for design and post design efforts on roadway and/or drainage plans.
  • Engineer roadway and drainage design projects including limited access tolled, interstate, rural and urban roadway reconstruction, resurfacing, complete streets, and trail/sidewalk projects.
  • Lead production teams in roadway plans preparation and development efforts.
  • Prepare geometric analysis and calculations in support of designs and establish design criteria, methods, practices, and procedures.
  • Review plans for conformance with scope of services and design standards.
  • May be responsible for the review and sealing of own projects.
  • Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
  • Interaction with Stantec clients, including marketing efforts.
  • Develop and/or review policies, methods, practices, and procedures; and review plans for conformance with FDOT, County, and municipal design standards and criteria.
