Requirements

  • Design Engineering experience with the modification and implementation process in power facilities.
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in the nuclear, power, or industrial industries as an Engineer or Project Manager.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear or Chemical Engineering (or related) OR PMP Certification and 10 years' applicable experience.
  • PE license strongly preferred.
  • Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills.
  • Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sites.
  • Ability to travel between 10-15% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic discussions and align your team to ensure quality and deadlines are met.
  • Keep clients informed and engaged.
  • Dive into problem-solving, manage budgets, refine proposals, and identify new opportunities.
  • Motivate your team to turn every challenge into a win.
  • Provide interdisciplinary coordination for design engineering projects.
  • Serve as a technical leader to ensure project solution and quality goals are met.
  • Manage client interactions and negotiate/control project scope.
  • Foster and maintain working relations with assigned clients.
  • Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to established schedule and within budget.
  • Understand project schedules, project management plans, and manage project staff.
  • Formulate/develop detailed project reports.
  • Understand project financials and report regularly to management.
  • Work with technical staff to develop winning engineering proposals.
  • Support marketing efforts, including identification of new opportunities and proposal preparation.
