Municipal Engineering - Fehr Graham What you’ll do Our ideal candidate is experienced in civil engineering and enjoys tackling challenges in transportation, private development, stormwater or hydraulic modeling. As a Project Engineer, you’ll help with projects that require you to apply standard practices and techniques. You’ll also:

Requirements

  • Ideally, you’ll have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • If you have five or more years of experience in civil design and project management, preferably at a professional consulting firm, we want to talk.
  • You should be a licensed professional engineer or demonstrate the ability to secure licensure shortly after starting employment.
  • Speak and write well.
  • Have strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Be a team player.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate work.
  • Adjust and correlate data.
  • Estimate project costs.
  • Recognize discrepancies and follow standard procedures.
  • Build client relationships.
  • Support construction staff with field changes and clarifications.
  • Assist with proposal development and scope definition.
  • Coordinate permitting with regulatory agencies under state and local requirements.
  • Work effectively under pressure.
  • Meet tight deadlines.
