We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our established Municipal Services team. As a Project Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects including water distribution and wastewater collection, paving and drainage improvements, water and wastewater treatment, parks, and recreation facilities, and more. Requirements

  • B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering from ABET accredited institution
  • Texas registered PE license, or the ability to obtain one within six months
  • 5+ years of Professional Experience preferred
  • Client Management experience or strong interpersonal skills and desire to develop in client management
  • Strong communication skills for internal and external communication & coordination

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS Pro, InfoWater Pro, Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and oversee civil engineering design for municipalities, counties, and rural water districts
  • Prepare and oversee development of design drawings, technical specifications, reports, cost estimates, and other project deliverables
  • Analyze technical information, perform engineering calculations, and advance design concepts into effective and financially feasible engineering designs
  • Author technical reports such as due diligence reports, feasibility reports, design reports, and technical memoranda
  • Provide technical support and project inspection throughout all project stages, from request for proposal through final design and construction closeout
  • Serve as Engineer of Record for various projects and/or project tasks
  • Prepare and participate in client meetings and presentations
  • Serve as a leader and mentor for engineers-in-training, engineering interns, and designers
