About The Position

The Construction Management and Civil Engineering Intern is responsible for assisting the Project Management, Field Supervision and/or Estimating departments on a construction project either at the project site or divisional office. Working side by side with experienced Project Managers, Field Supervision, and/or Estimators provides an excellent environment for both academic and career growth.

Requirements

  • proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Attention to detail
  • ability to multi-task
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to read construction drawings are essential
  • Dependable transportation is required
  • Junior or Senior
  • Minimum GPA 2.75
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Science or Construction Management

Nice To Haves

  • Past construction work experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • assisting project engineering
  • assisting project accounting
  • assisting superintendent staff with daily duties including but not limited to: managing project document flow
  • taking progress photos of jobsite
  • submittal review and approval process
  • RFI process
  • change management process
  • any other duties specific to each jobsite
