Description of Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions): Assist in reviewing project proposals and plans to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of a project Assists in planning project personnel activities to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget. Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and requests schedule modifications or plans as required Assists in coordinating the logistics of machines from their European supplier. Including U.S. Customs clearance and domestic transportation Interfaces with project personnel to provide technical advice and resolve problems Interfaces with equipment suppliers regarding project requirements and schedules Coordinates the delivery of supplier components in a timely and cost effective manner Assists with document control (ex: manuals, parts list and drawings) for each project Coordinates the information exchange between customer, RSM and internal groups Assists customers with all technical aspects of machine repair via phone support as required by the Service group Assists Service and Applications Engineers in the field with questions and concerns while at customers Performs electrical and/or mechanical engineering functions to configure turnkey systems Assists in the resolution of open issues on projects through receipt of final payment Assists in maintaining technical information database for product groups Assists with the procurement of project related purchased materials, parts, supplies, equipment and services, as assigned Investigates new developments relative to material and supplies and suggests procedures designed to reduce costs and improve quality Participates in applicable training to increase knowledge, skills and abilities to achieve higher level project engineering position requirements Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience in Related Field, Skills, etc.): Associates or Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in a related discipline; and three to seven years related experience and/or technical certification or equivalent combination of education and related job experience Basic to intermediate knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, CNC controls (PLC, NC Programming), electrical and mechanical blueprint reading and trouble shooting skills Basic to intermediate knowledge of E-Plan and AutoCAD software programs.
