  • Project Engineering: Support the engineering lifecycle of turbomachinery control system projects, assisting with activities from concept through detailed design, implementation, internal testing, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and final delivery. Work under guidance to ensure requirements, timelines, and budgets are met.
  • Customer Engagement: Participate in technical meetings (IKOM, EKOM) and design reviews with clients. Help document requirements and contribute to developing practical engineering solutions with oversight from senior engineers.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, field engineering, and R&D to ensure project objectives are met and solutions are aligned with customer needs.
  • Engineering Documentation: Create and update project documentation, including I/O lists, Network Architecture Diagrams, Control System Diagrams/P&IDs, Control Narratives, Modbus lists, and FAT/SAT procedures.
  • System Integration & Testing: Perform internal testing and reviews to verify quality and ensure compliance. Support FAT activities with clients, including addressing punch-list items and preparing for project delivery.
  • Control System Development: Contribute to programming and configuration of PLC/DCS platforms (CCC Prodigy/Vanguard, Allen-Bradley, Honeywell Experion), develop HMI graphics, and implement industrial communication protocols (Modbus, HART, etc.)
  • Project Scheduling & Delivery: Assist project and engineering managers with scheduling, resource allocation, and timeline tracking to ensure successful project completion.
  • Continuous Improvement: Develop knowledge of CCC’s proprietary turbomachinery control application algorithms and contribute to product and process enhancements.
  • Commissioning Support: Provide remote assistance to field engineers during commissioning and troubleshooting phases.
  • Change Management: Maintain and update engineering documents throughout the project lifecycle to reflect evolving customer requirements and design changes.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • 2+ years of experience in industrial automation, process control, or rotating equipment with
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with at least one PLC or DCS platform (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Honeywell Experion, Delta-V, etc.).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Instrumentation Engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience with CCC Control Systems such as Prodigy, Vanguard, Series 3++ is highly desirable.
  • Foundational understanding of turbomachinery or rotating equipment (e.g., compressors, steam turbines, or gas turbines) and their operation (preferably within Oil&Gas, LNG, or PowerGen)
  • Experience with industrial instrumentation (flow transmitters, pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters, control valves) such as Rosemount, Honeywell, Yokogawa, Fisher, CCI.
  • Hands-on experience with control system and DCS platforms such as: Allen-Bradley PLC, Siemens PLC, Honeywell Experion DCS, Emerson Delta-V, Yokogawa Centum VP, CCC Prodigy, CCC Vanguard.
  • PLC programming skills (ladder logic, structured text, continuous function charts) and HMI development.
  • Experience in control panel design and fabrication, including structural layout, bill of materials, and detailed wiring diagrams.
  • Knowledge of hazardous area classifications and NEMA standards for panel construction and certifications.
  • Knowledge of Modbus protocol and other industrial communication standards (Profibus DP, HART,).
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices for industrial control systems (desirable).
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
