Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or similar.
  • Prior experience in a renewable energy construction or engineering environment is preferred.
  • Prior experience as a project engineer is desirable.
  • Ability to identify and solve complex problems.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to be both creative and analytical.
  • Detail-oriented and accurate.
  • Efficient time management – handle multiple projects simultaneously and with minimal supervision including prioritizing, organizing, and planning effectively to meet all deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Information Management and Document Control.
  • Organize files, downloads, uploads, and meeting minutes.
  • Responsible for Tracking and Closure of RFIs and Submittals.
  • Responsible for coordination and submittal of Record Drawings.
  • Acquire knowledge of PV system layouts and components such as modules, racking, inverters, and Balance of Systems (BOS).
  • Acquire knowledge of project management principles in an engineering consulting environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, codes.
  • Work under the direction of more senior Project Management staff.
  • Perform essential duties including meeting deliverables and deadlines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned or directed.
