Jaxon is looking for an experienced Project Engineer I to join our Engineering Team. Requirements

  • Understanding of and proficiency with plan reading, specifications, statements of work or request for proposals
  • Experience coordinating project teams and schedules
  • Proficient with MS Office suite
  • Experience using MS Project
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD issued Secret or higher clearance
  • Willingness to be coached and willing to learn new skills in a growing industry

Responsibilities

  • Produces accurate and complete schedules for all active and anticipated projects
  • Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans and conferring with management
  • Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements
  • Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards
  • Coordinates with customers to communicate project status and minimize scope creep
  • Reviews and delivers all project submittals
  • Builds and maintains project schedules
  • Develop/maintain project logs & trackers such as procurement, customer deliverables, RFI’s and change management
  • Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
  • Maintains Jaxon’s positive reputation while pursuing excellence
  • Communicates continuously and effectively with all project stakeholders
  • Works collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve mutual goals
