Pratt & Whitney Engineering is seeking a goal oriented, detail-focused project engineer to work for the Engineering Support to Operations (ESTO) organization as a Project Engineer role based in East Hartford, CT. In this role you'll be responsible for Support to Operations task execution on the Mechanical Systems, Externals, and Nacelles (MSEN) Module.

  • Support the Integrated Product Team to meet task and technical requirements
  • Support the Integrated Product Team with planning and managing the budget for all hardware and tasks
  • Prepare/present status and technical content to IPTL, ESTO Leadership, CIPT & upper Pratt & Whitney management
  • Work closely with the Integrated Product Team and authorities on hardware field investigations to drive root cause and recommend product improvements
  • Evaluate product improvement opportunities and initiate Class 2 engineering change executions for those initiatives
  • Coordinate evaluation and disposition of quality non-conformances and supplier requests for information
  • Support the Integrated Product Team in performing risk assessments and developing mitigation plans
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • Experience working in the Aerospace Industry, with jet engines, or gas turbine compressors
  • Experience with MS Office, Teamcenter, SAP, MS Project or other scheduling software
  • Experience collaborating with a team to develop innovative ideas
  • Experience communicating clear and effective messages to a broad audience
  • Relocation will be offered for those who qualify
