Requirements

  • 1-3+ years of construction experience (industrial electrical preferred)
  • Prior experience with an electrical contractor strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management (experience may substitute)
  • High energy, motivated, and eager to take ownership
  • Thrives in a growth environment: comfortable building, not just maintaining
  • Strong organizational skills and time management
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Dependable, professional, and committed to learning
  • Understanding of construction processes and documentation
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
  • Comfortable working with project management software and tools

Responsibilities

  • Support project start-up and closeout activities, ensuring systems and documentation are complete
  • Assist with submittals, schedule updates, change management, and procurement
  • Help track and process contracts, payment applications, and invoices
  • Participate in weekly project meetings, occasionally leading discussions
  • Review designs, specifications, and drawings for compliance and quality
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams to resolve technical or scheduling issues
  • Champion jobsite safety by modeling and supporting safe practices
