Project Engineer - High-Speed Balance
About The Position
Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC a world class supplier of power generation services, parts and repairs, has an immediate opening for a qualified individual who has a desire to join a growing organization and an appetite for diverse and technically challenging work. The Project Engineer-Balance will lead or assist in the balancing of Steam Turbines, Gas Turbines, and Generators, focusing on hands-on involvement including: Collaborate with hourly workforce for task completion with minimal direction. Execute production plans prioritizing Safety and Quality. Prepare drawings and process instructions. Diagnose and repair mechanical and hydraulic equipment. Operate and troubleshoot PLC systems. Contribute as a team member in mechanical assemblies. Supervise, operate, and troubleshoot complex systems. Perform the balancing of power generation equipment.
Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to apply knowledge to hands-on solutions.
- Excellent mathematical skills.
- Availability for night and weekend work as required.
- Effective team collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
