As a Project Engineer, you'll lead design efforts on mid-sized projects, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance. You'll mentor junior engineers, coordinate with design teams, and deliver high-quality analyses and reviews. You'll engage with stakeholders to clarify requirements, flag challenges to the Project Manager, and support business development. Your role also includes reviewing drawings, participating in quality control, and driving process improvements—all while maintaining a strong focus on precision and efficiency. This is a hybrid role and can be based in Madison, WI or Chicago, IL.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 4 years of work experience in the pipeline industry or a related industry.
  • Experience in natural gas design or civil utility projects.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Engineer (PE) License.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.

Responsibilities
