As a Project Engineer based in our Los Angeles office, you'll play a key role in coordinating active projects and supporting seamless execution from groundbreaking to occupancy.Under direction of the Financial Manager, Financial Controls, the Project Engineer - Finance will provide the following essential functions: At our core, we believe in helping you grow and pursue what fulfills you-because together, we can make an impact on the future, both big and small, global and local.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, or equivalent professional experience in lieu of formal education.
  • 5+years work experience in related Financial Controls role.
  • Proven experience in establishing and maintaining cost and schedule controls using several systems and tools in a dynamic environment with rapidly evolving priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the e-Builder cost module (10%).
  • Establish and monitor cost controls (10%).
  • Review and analyze cost data for accuracy and trends (20%).
  • Set up and maintain vetted project budgets across multiple systems (20%).
  • Oversee processing of commitments to ensure proper documentation and approvals (20%).
