The Innovation and Development Division (IDD) drives the innovation strategy for the Hubs and Operations, and contributes to the Group's transformation. It is responsible for imagining, developing and incubating new solutions until they are brought to market, particularly when it comes to offers with a high technological content (including digital and IT). IDD gathers more than 3,000 employees from 70 nationalities at 60 sites. How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Innovation is a driving force and a key pillar of Air Liquide strategic plan. R&D is a major contributor to innovation, by delivering pioneering solutions which contribute to the growth, performance and decarbonization of Air Liquide and its customers, and by developing our people and competencies over the long term. By cultivating diverse skills and a spirit of innovation, R&D explores novel and differentiating solutions and provides the technological building blocks to support the Group's growth in the markets of the future. To fulfill its mission, R&D relies on teams anchored within their ecosystem, at five Innovation Campuses located on three continents. Since 2007, the Innovation Campus Delaware has been the nexus of R&D activities in the Americas. Its diverse blend of scientific and engineering expertises leverages a collaborative pan-American ecosystem of customers, business partners, start-ups and academics. R&D Americas is composed of a dynamic and diverse group of researchers and support staff from 20 different countries. The Engineering Team supports the Innovation Campus Delaware R&D groups with design, risk evaluation, pre-planning, installation of experimental setups, facility systems, and capital projects. Projects typically start at conception, through design, implementation, and startup.
