About The Position

The Walsh Group is seeking entry-level Project Engineers for their Federal Building Group in the Southern Virginia region. This role is designed for individuals who are problem solvers and enjoy collaborative teamwork. Project Engineers at Walsh are responsible for managing various aspects of construction projects, ensuring quality and safety, and maintaining effective communication with team members and subcontractors.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Previous internship, co-op, or employment experience is a plus
• Specific roles may require relocation

Responsibilities

• Document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims, etc.)
• Assisting and supporting project team with daily project coordination
• Procurement of construction materials
• Quality Control / Quality Assurance checks
• Coordination of subcontractors
• Survey and project layout
• Weekly pictures for progress reports
• Manage construction equipment
• Safety management
• Project estimating
