About The Position

Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) is seeking a full-time Project Engineer to join their team in Lafayette, IN. This role is a liaison to manufacturing, primarily responsible for supporting Quality issues and resolving Build issues within the LPSD (Large Power Systems Division) Electrical Systems and Controls team. The position focuses on supporting large engine build issues, quality issues, and improving as-built part traceability. The successful candidate will collaborate with manufacturing engineering to enhance build efficiency and product quality, acting as an Engineering/Technologist in the Large Engine Electrical System team and supporting BIQ initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical, agricultural, electrical, or similar engineering or engineering technology (3 years of engine design experience + internship experience (2 years))
• Master’s with 3 years of experience
• Electrical design Knowledge
• Electrical troubleshooting
• Self Starter
• Excellent Organization and priority-setting skills
• Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and schematics
• Must be self-motivated with a good sense of urgency when handling assigned tasks
• At least 2-3 years of industry or related military experience
• CREO and TeamCenter experience
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Must work and communicate extremely well with hourly assembly teams
• Ability to work with diverse personalities is required as this position will interface with many other departments (such as other engineering groups, operations, suppliers, marketing, supply chain, and customer service)
• Ability to multi-task and work with a team of individuals of diverse backgrounds

Nice To Haves

• Good understanding of engines or electrical systems is a plus
