CDI Engineering Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Consulting Engineers Limited (TCE), is a multi-disciplinary engineering organization offering a full range of integrated engineering design, project support, procurement and construction management services to the energy and chemicals industries. The Project Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a portfolio of minor projects (each $250k require review by corporate estimating resource). This role involves submitting capital funding requests through the plant project system, leading team meetings and design reviews, determining staffing needs, and reporting project status to the Site Team Leader and Site Engineering Manager. The Project Coordinator will collaborate with Project Controls to track schedule and budget performance, participate in monthly project portfolio reviews, complete monthly capital forecasting, coordinate with Procurement for ordering engineered equipment, and ensure design packages are complete and approved prior to being issued for construction. The position is primarily office-based with frequent fieldwork in active chemical manufacturing areas, requiring access to all areas of the plant, including elevated platforms, and exposure to industrial hazards such as moving equipment, chemicals, and varying weather conditions. Use of appropriate PPE is required.
