As the Design/Build team grows, the company remains committed to industry trends and technology, ensuring exceptional quality and thoughtful design in every project. Café Concepts is seeking a highly motivated, detail-driven Project Engineer to help bring innovative commercial kitchen and foodservice projects to life. In this role, the Project Engineer will collaborate closely with internal teams, subcontractors, general contractors, and clients to successfully manage multiple projects from kickoff through installation. This opportunity is for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy juggling multiple priorities, and take pride in delivering exceptional results, while supporting the account team’s sales efforts.

  • Ability to interpret construction documents, contracts, and technical drawings

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management
  • 2 + years of experience in project engineering
  • Proven Construction-related project management experience
  • Knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment, fabrication, or foodservice design
  • Experience in the Food Service Industry

Responsibilities

  • Read drawings and check equipment to ensure standards are met
  • Manage project schedules to ensure the timely completion and accuracy of all deliverables
  • Manage project budgets and expense tracking
  • Coordinate with General Contractors, Subcontractors, Vendors, and Clients on all project details and timelines
  • Manage on-site project measurements and specifications
  • Communicate project status with stakeholders
