Project Engineer-Bridge
About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to assist, support, and collaborate on the management and execution of a project safely and profitably. The candidate will work with their assigned project manager to help achieve their respective project management objectives. Develop and implement project execution strategies Maintain and communicate various project performance metrics and analytics Provide leadership and support to functional area managers Support forecasting and reporting Act as a liaison between the superintendent and the subcontractors in coordinating the delivery date of materials by analyzing the schedule and the required installation dates. Interprets designs and drawings; prepares takeoffs Assists in project close-out activities Work with subcontractors and vendors Foster and maintain favorable relationships with project stakeholders Market and promote the Superior Construction brand Other Assist with the leadership and development of team members Foster and maintain a safe work environment Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills All other duties as assigned
Requirements
- BS Construction, Engineering, or other relevant fields of study
- Entry-level up to 4 years of industry tenure.
- Field-based project execution experience
- Field-based leadership roles
- Knowledge of route surveying and scheduling
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Safety Trained Supervisor Construction Certification
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license before employment.
