Learn about the Trident II D5 Fleet Ballistic Missile As a Project Engineer on the Mk7 program within FBM, you will: Execute project management duties across several IPTs such as program planning, financial analysis, contract interpretation, systems integration, as well as cost and risk management. Administer Earned Value Management (EVM) best practices across varied engineering organizations. Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of Engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility Ensure Engineering is coordinated across program and suppliers Support Ad hoc tasking by Systems Engineering and Program management leaders Focus on providing assistance to team members to meet critical schedules and resolve critical/complex technical or operational problems. Compile, prepare, and present information to management and communicate and work effectively across multiple disciplines

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in a STEM field from an accredited college
  • Ability to develop and execute project plans
  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in project management including but not limited to budget planning, cost analysis, schedule development, and risk and opportunity management
  • Strong sense of follow-up and closure with strict attention to detail, quality, and whole system thinking
  • Experience facilitating discussions, meetings, and capturing critical actions/requirements
  • Understanding of engineering principles and processes with the ability to translate complex technical ideas between disciplines

Responsibilities
