Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with performing the risk management process on space, ground, software, or hardware systems for Defense Acquisition Programs.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience performing systems engineering, integration, and test on space systems.
  • Experience with planning and executing System Integration of complex Space or Ground systems.
  • Knowledge of DoD 5000.01/02.
  • Possession of strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Master's degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related technical field.
  • INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification, including ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP.

Responsibilities

  • Perform the risk management process on space, ground, software, or hardware systems for Defense Acquisition Programs.
  • Support overall engineering integration of Systems Engineering and Integration efforts for the DoD, government agencies, or commercial programs.
  • Identify, analyze, and propose program risks, issues, and handling plans.
  • Develop, document, execute and update program risk and issue management plans, processes, and products.
  • Facilitate, manage and participate in the Government Risk Management Boards, including preparation, distribution and presentation of agendas, briefings, reports, meeting minutes and action items.
