As our Project Engineer - Development (Engineering Advisor), you will serve as the technical authority within the ENGIE Capital Projects team at Georgetown University, ensuring that engineering rigor, constructability, and long-term operational value are embedded in every project before it moves to execution. You'll bridge the gap between planning and delivery-reviewing designs, validating assumptions, and ensuring that each project aligns with ENGIE's standards, University requirements, and long-term system performance goals. This position supports ENGIE's 50-year partnership with Georgetown University to operate, maintain, and enhance the campus utility systems. You'll play a critical role in advancing projects involving chilled water, steam, electrical, HVAC, and renewable energy systems-helping the University achieve its reliability, efficiency, and decarbonization objectives. No two days are the same. You'll evaluate engineering studies, develop technical scopes, validate system models, and ensure constructability before handoff to the delivery team. Your success will be measured by your ability to ensure design integrity, minimize risk, and provide sound engineering assurance for all capital projects under development.
