The position involves generating and managing Change Orders (CO) through to closure. The individual will perform documentation research for all parts and assemblies included in the Engineering Change Order to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to change control policies and design drafting standards. The role requires making decisions, providing recommendations, and escalating issues based on situational needs. The individual will serve as the primary point of contact for Engineering Change Order activities and will interface with Engineers and Designers to integrate design solutions into Bills of Materials (BOMs) that align with lean manufacturing requirements. Responsibilities also include aligning key collaborators to drive solutions in accordance with cut-in strategies, monitoring and prioritizing tasks for efficient change cut-in, processing part numbers and change orders, tracking documents from initiation to final approval, and generating documentation in support of ISO standards. The role supports the Engineering and design team in creating and updating drawings, specifications, and BOMs, and involves participation in special projects and department initiatives.
