The Opportunity: As Project Enablement Manager for R&D, you will be part of a pool of an internal Project Management team and report to the Chapter Lead Project Enablement and be accountable for delivering the assigned project services and deliverables in your area of expertise. In this specific role, you will act as a project manager and enabler for our scientific community. Rather than leading the scientists, you serve as their essential support system, ensuring that their research and innovation initiatives are backed by robust project management and operational excellence. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution and delivery of impactful, innovative healthcare solutions by bridging the gap between scientific intent and operational reality. Your work in Project Management and Program implementation for Scientific Enablement: Act as a "Co-Pilot": Adopt a co-pilot mindset to work alongside scientists, providing the necessary operational structure to help them navigate complex project lifecycles. Proactive Problem Solving: Identify potential blockers early and propose creative solutions to ensure scientific research remains on track. Autonomous Execution: Work with high degrees of autonomy and flexibility, managing your own tasks and priorities while staying aligned with the broader scientific objectives. Operational Governance: Establish and implement fit-for-purpose project frameworks and templates that enhance scientific effectiveness without adding unnecessary administrative burden. Risk & Ambiguity Management: Identify, assess, and manage risks and dependencies across the project lifecycle, applying calculated risk-taking to navigate the inherent uncertainties of scientific discovery. Stakeholder Synergy: Facilitate alignment across diverse scientific and cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and structured progress reporting. Transition Management: Effectively manage the transition of deliverables to support long-term operational continuity post-implementation Additionally, you possess the following qualifications, experience and personal attributes for: Scientific Understanding: A genuine interest and basic understanding of the scientific basis of drug discovery and development, and a desire to support the delivery of life-changing healthcare solutions. Entrepreneurial Mindset: Self-driven, proactive, and resilient, with a passion for "building to last" and standardizing workflows for future success. Expert Facilitator: Experience in organizing cross-functional workshops or sprints to synthesize outcomes with senior stakeholders and Pharma partners. Advanced Focus: Strong observation and focus skills, allowing you to deep-dive into complex problems while maintaining a holistic view of the project's impact. Remote Collaboration: Proven ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively in a virtual, global environment.
