About The Position

This position is part of the NBA Social and Digital Content team, which focuses on identifying, creating, and publishing content to the NBA's social and digital platforms and its many domestic and international partners throughout the world. This role supports the Partner Integration team in day-to-day project management and operations for partner campaigns across NBA social platforms, digital platforms, NBA TV, and FAST channels The ideal candidate is an active consumer of social media who understands how brands activate through branded content across platforms. This individual has their finger on the pulse of the NBA and spends their free time immersing themselves in podcasts, message boards, or consuming short- and long-form content about the NBA.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of the NBA, including players, teams, storylines, statistics, standings, history, and the league calendar; actively consumes NBA content on a daily basis
  • Understanding of the NBA’s social voice
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; knowledge of platforms like Airtable and how to integrate AI into operational workflows
  • Ability to work effectively under deadlines and incorporate feedback quickly and accurately
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally as part of a team
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, as this position may include working days, nights, weekends, and holidays based on the NBA calendar

Responsibilities

  • Maintain project tracking calendars to support team organization and execution timelines
  • Organize, maintain, and update notes, key documents, and other resource materials across projects
  • Assist in managing video and graphic creation requests, including approvals for content, copy, and post timing
  • Coordinate the publishing of branded content posts with NBA social and digital publishing teams
  • Monitor branded content trends and review metrics to optimize content and increase views and engagement across NBA platforms
  • Contribute ideas for developing partner branded content packages
  • Communicate and collaborate with multiple internal departments to support cross-functional initiatives
