About The Position

Black Construction, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a Project Electrical Engineer to join our office in Guam. As a Project Electrical Engineer at Black Construction, the successful applicant will be assigned to implement the electrical engineering requirements of either private/commercial or military installations. He/She will be based in Guam but will work on different projects for Guam, Micronesia, and Diego Garcia.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Seven (7) or more years of related construction experience as an Electrical Engineer.
• Professional certificates or licenses and training certificates.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs like Word and Excel software.
• Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Abilities in problem sensitivity, oral and written comprehension, oral and written expression, and near vision.
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, persistence, and stress tolerance.
• Troubleshooting, complex problem solving, critical thinking using logic and reasoning, and reading comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the timely and proper preparation of required electrical plans and specifications prior to implementation of works.
• Procure electrical materials and equipment needed for the project and ensure their delivery is based on the project program schedule.
• Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and requirements.
• Anticipate requirements to support the field operation during the construction stage.
• Ensure close coordination and interaction of different trades for speedy and effective execution of works.
• Monitor the progress of electrical works to ensure all works have been completed and able to meet target schedule and budget.
• Prepare correspondence to the concerned parties regarding information, clarification and/or decisions that require immediate resolution.
