Project Electrical Engineer
About The Position
Perform electrical design and coordination tasks with focus on power distribution, lighting systems, communication systems, fire alarm systems and control systems Utilize CAD software (Autodesk and Bentley products) for electrical system design and documentation Establish design criteria and perform design calculations Develop electrical design documents including one-line diagrams, control schematics, electrical plans and specifications Provide engineering services during construction, review equipment submittals and shop drawings and respond to contractor RFIs (Requests for Information) Conduct field inspections to identify deviations from design and ensure safety compliance during construction Perform electrical system analysis using tools such as ETAP, SKM Power Tools and other power systems analysis software Travel as required to meet project needs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, a related discipline or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- EIT or Professional Engineer (PE).
