Project Electrical Engineer
About The Position
Multi-disciplined consulting firm with established office looking to add a talented Senior Project Electrical Engineer for their Jacksonville team! Responsibilities: Lead the development and kickoff of electrical projects Manage all stages of a project (planning, design, execution, budget tracking, invoicing, and closeout) Ensure projects meet technical excellence standards and timely delivery Contribute to improvements in electrical project management practices Lead, manage, and provide technical directions to project teams Serve as main contact for client and project teams Oversee a variety of projects (standalone electrical systems to more complex designs for larger projects) Mentor/train junior staff
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 8+ years of consulting experience
- PE License or Florida Design Engineer of Record (DES)
- Experience designing low-voltage systems (fire alarm, CCTV, keyless entry, security, sound systems, and media delivery)
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
- Thorough knowledge of Florida building codes, ensuring compliance and best practices in every project phase
- Experienced in shop drawing/submittal review
- Experience in project management/client engagement
- Experience in plan production/technical project delivery
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree preferred
