Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum of 15 additional years of experience in Customer Project Engineering.
• Licensure needed, such as Professional Engineer (PE).
• Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Artificial Lift Technical Support, Design, and/or Validation.
• Proficient use of computer-based programs related to application of products.

Responsibilities

• Design, troubleshoot, and optimize high-specification surface electrical systems.
• Work closely with sales and operations to develop an operational year plan for assigned customers.
• Serve as the technical leader/manager to develop a scope of work and plan schedule and monitor engineering activities for customer projects.
• Provide technical leadership and interface with Proposal Management, Cost Estimating, Partners, Customers, Baker Hughes Product Engineering, Sourcing, Engineering sub-contractors.
• Apply existing technologies, approaches, methodologies in new combinations to design new products, systems or processes.
• Present project plans, technical roadmaps, risks, and recommendations to senior business leaders within the technical space and occasionally to senior leaders in partner technical teams.
• Communicate solutions across the own function and with cross-functional partner organizations.
