About The Position

Uprite Construction is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead large scale infrastructure projects across the Nashville market and nearby areas. This role is focused on heavy civil work including roads, utilities, and bridges, with responsibility for driving performance, team leadership, and successful project delivery.

Requirements

10 to 15 plus years of experience in heavy civil or infrastructure construction
Strong background in roads, underground utilities, site development, and bridges
Experience managing multiple large scale projects or programs
Proven experience with DOT, municipal, or public works projects
Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and schedules
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
Must be based in Nashville, Tennessee or within close commuting distance
Willingness to travel regionally as needed

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

Lead multiple infrastructure projects across the region from preconstruction through closeout
Provide oversight and direction to Project Managers and field teams
Drive performance across schedule, budget, safety, and quality
Partner with estimating and preconstruction on pursuits, pricing, and risk review
Build strong relationships with clients, municipalities, and key stakeholders
Identify risks early and implement solutions to protect project outcomes
Mentor and develop team members, building a strong leadership bench
Collaborate with executive leadership on regional strategy and resource planning
