The Advanced Technology and Life Sciences Project Director develops, coordinates, implements, and manages all facets necessary to construct the project on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction. Provides leadership and serves as the liaison between project team members and the client to promote the interest of both Fluor and the client. The Project Director is the primary leader for the construction project and is charged with utilizing their experience and knowledge to make expeditious decisions, model efficiency and run projects efficiently. With Fluor, you will manage medium to large projects independently including engineering efforts for programs including but not limited to ensuring proper specifications and documentation, permit support and design. Ensure proper execution of all suppliers/contractors and provide technical assistance as necessary. Prepares estimate and budgets and review expenditures to control costs. Prepares requests for materials/supplies/subcontractors, etc. Supervises development and submission of reports and correspondence. This position may also be assigned responsibility for a substantial area of a mega project. When acting in the role of a Proposal Manager, this position is responsible for managing completion of technical and commercial proposals, providing project planning, means and methods of project execution and strategy, schedule preparation, cost estimating, and Project Execution and Commercial Execution Strategy.
