The Project Director for Sales & Marketing at Hyatt Vacation Club is responsible for executing sales and marketing strategies to achieve budgeted sales volume and costs while ensuring customer and associate satisfaction. This role requires effective coordination between sales and marketing groups and collaboration with multiple stakeholders to develop and implement regional marketing strategies. The Project Director is accountable for all aspects of sales location operations and must work on-site daily.

  • Contributes to the development of long-term function and strategy of the project.
  • Develops a culture of excellence in all facets of project operation.
  • Implements and manages daily administrative procedures in compliance with company policy.
  • Forecasts and budgets annual sales targets.
  • Ensures proper communications are maintained with all staff personnel or others associated with project operations.
  • Responsible for a positive guest tour experience.
  • Resolves any unresolved guest issues that have escalated.
  • Uses reports on individual and team production performance to evaluate overall project and team effectiveness.
  • Negotiates contracts and works with vendors.
  • Develops future managers while implementing company-directed self-development programs.
  • Measures the performance of the marketing and sales departments against goals and holds them accountable.
  • Understands and abides by state and federal regulations around sales and marketing activity.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in management of sales, marketing or administration.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in vacation ownership.
  • Proficiency in reading and writing English (additional language required for certain positions).
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Openness to adapt to different cultural contexts based on location.
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required by business needs.
  • Salary range $178,000-$237,000 + Incentives.
