About The Position

As the Project Development Manager - Integrated Campus, you will have the opportunity to:   Manage all aspects of early development for medium to large integrated campus projects, including multi-technology evaluations, concept design, risk and opportunity evaluations, cost estimates, schedule development, detailed design execution planning, and overall quality of deliverables  Be responsible for the day-to-day successful execution of early project development scope in the areas of performance, financial metrics, planning, schedule, quality, contractual compliance, safety, and client satisfaction Provide for the successful staffing of the project Manage and lead small and medium sized teams of multi-discipline professionals Coordinate and integrate the activities associated with the engineering, procurement, construction, and startup elements of the project team, including the activities of all third-party companies contributing to the initiative Work with clients to understand their portfolio needs and goals to develop viable solutions to meet their needs. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in developing integrated campuses.
  • Prefer four-year bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management
  • Contract negotiation skill including knowledge of terms, risks, pricing and payment terms.
  • Team development, mentors and coaches professionals, delegates project work, practices behaviors supporting diversity and inclusion, and collaboration to achieve results
  • Communicates clear expectations, goals, and vision
  • Independent self-starter who can meet deadlines and deliver quality products with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the day-to-day successful execution of early project development scope in the areas of performance, financial metrics, planning, schedule, quality, contractual compliance, safety, and client satisfaction
  • Provide for the successful staffing of the project
  • Manage and lead small and medium sized teams of multi-discipline professionals
  • Coordinate and integrate the activities associated with the engineering, procurement, construction, and startup elements of the project team, including the activities of all third-party companies contributing to the initiative
  • Work with clients to understand their portfolio needs and goals to develop viable solutions to meet their needs.
  • Manage medium to large engineering projects involving multiple clients or partners, or small EPC projects with minimal risk.
  • Responsible for maintaining and nurturing relationships with assigned clients and identifying key client interests and drivers on projects and pursuits and communicate with team members.
  • Obtains new/repeat business on medium to large size projects.
  • Support and develop project estimates and proposals including scope, cost and schedule according to client requirements and bid process.
  • Support and develop proposal preparation, client presentations and contract negotiations with clients.
  • Manages risk which may include time and material, fixed price, new technology, non domestic markets or new clients.
  • Works with engineering team to identify and resolve problems or issues related to design, schedule, change management and quality.
  • Identify and develop capabilities/skills needed to successfully deliver solutions
  • Acts as a project manager.
