About The Position

Pellerin Laundry Machinery Sales Company, Inc. is a full service distributor of industrial, commercial, and institutional laundry equipment. We have been providing successful laundry solutions to our customers, who are predominately in the South Central United States, for well over 90 years. The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating activities between customers and Regional Sales Territory Managers to provide: Equipment layouts using AutoCAD software. Calculate equipment utility requirements using Microsoft Excel for mechanical schedules. Produce Installation Drawings including detailed Locating, Mechanical, and Electrical Requirements to customers and salesmen. Respond to various requests for information pre-sale and post-sale using Outlook. Consult with vendors to optimize plant layouts. Collaborate with equipment vendors efficiently when involved in projects together. Communicate with customers on issues and potential solutions. Travel as needed to take measurements, attend job site meetings, and take part in installations.

Requirements

  • BS in Industrial Technology, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related
  • Applications Engineering Experience in mechanical drawing/ design work, AutoCAD (2D and 3D) design software skills.
  • High level of mechanical aptitude and ability to articulate mechanical concepts
  • Must be willing to travel throughout our 7-state territory as needed.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Requires ability to be aware of situations while on job sites to ensure safety.
  • Ability and experience to communicate effectively and directly with customers.
