About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelors or masters degree in architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management, with a focus on workplace and commercial interiors.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, construction processes, and building codes.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in design and project management software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Project).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Passion for and fundamental understanding of sustainable design.
  • CPHD, LEED and/or WELL accreditations, progress toward licensure (NCIDQ) are pluses.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage interior design projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, goals, and project requirements, providing expert guidance and innovative solutions.
  • Oversee all phases of project development, including conceptual design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
  • Collaborate with the Principal in Charge (PIC) to identify and secure opportunities for the Practice area, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate and manage project teams, including architects, designers, consultants, and contractors, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, zoning laws, and regulations.
  • Prepare and present project proposals, budgets, and schedules to clients and stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and securing repeat business.
  • Travel to project sites across the United States as required.
