About The Position

The Project Delivery Principal is responsible for overseeing the design and construction of power delivery projects, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of both new and existing clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in public utility design and construction, as well as business management and is able to successfully manage a revenue portfolio that meets-or-exceeds organic growth projections year-over-year. NV5 is a provider of engineering and consulting services to public and private sector clients, delivering solutions through six business verticals: Testing, Inspection & Consulting; Infrastructure; Utility Services; Environmental Health Sciences; Buildings & Program Management; and Geospatial Technology. Requirements

A valid driver's license
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a relevant field, at least 3 years of work experience in a relevant field and position
Strong skills in MS Office

Nice To Haves

PMP certification, EIT or PE license, Master's degree in engineering or related science, business, or organizational management, and a working knowledge of client and industry design and construction standards.

Responsibilities

Manage the scope, schedule, and budget of individual projects, and work with a matrixed team to ensure tasks and deliverables are completed on time
Act as the primary point of contact for both internal and client teams, and will manage construction, procurement, invoice preparation, and project documentation
Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve client goals and drive business growth.
Lead project acquisition efforts, identify opportunities, and work collaboratively with the marketing team to prepare bids and interviews for jobs
Have a working knowledge of client and industry standards related to design and construction, and will be able to negotiate solutions to client concerns or project overages
