About The Position
The Project Cost Estimator in the Nordstrom Store Development organization provides accurate and timely cost estimates for building construction projects, from pre-construction through to completion, by analyzing historical project costs, evaluating project scope and collaborating with engineers, architects, contractors, and management teams to ensure the accuracy of cost forecasting. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Proven experience in cost estimation and analysis with industry-specific software.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and cost estimation software.
- Detail-oriented with strong time management.
- Knowledge of project management principles.
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods, particularly retail buildings
- Ability to create budgets with limited design Information
