About The Position

The Project Cost Controls Specialist F+G performs a variety of routine technical tasks to assist project managers, cost managers, facility assessors, construction managers, estimators, or other technical professionals working in program and project management, strategic facility consulting, project assurance, and other advisory services. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or a related field, plus zero - three years relevant experience.
  • Microsoft Excel and Computer skills required to enter data in spreadsheets or databases.
  • Client Service, Commitment, Communication, Innovation & Continuous Improvement, Professionalism, Quality, and Teamwork.
  • Performs routine technical support assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Gathers, logs and summarizes project data to be used in technical studies or project performance reviews
  • Assist in Project Estimate development with Project Manager
  • Manage change order process
  • Invoice review
  • Assist with annual budgeting
  • Responsible for Project cost tracking and forecasts
  • Responsible for progress reporting
  • Management of Assistant Project Controllers
  • Develop “in service” cost profiles
  • Variance explanations
  • Develop cost profiles
  • Develop payment applications
  • Track AFE funding levels
