About The Position

Black & Veatch is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to provide project management support including project execution and pursuit development for water utilities and state and local government projects. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for assisting project managers from project development through project completion. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Science, or related field or related experience.
  • 2+ years relevant experience
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Engineering, Science, or a related field
  • Prefer 5+ years professional experience as a project coordinator or similar role
  • Previous consulting or water utility experience
  • Experience with critical infrastructure projects and/or experience with entities who provide or are involved with critical infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency with computer software, including MS Office Suite and Project Software and Salesforce
  • Experience assisting with proposal development and project execution
  • Organizational skills including time management, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparing staffing plans for project pursuits and existing projects
  • Prepare updates to client relationship management tools
  • Support project execution tasks
  • Assist with development of scopes of services and fees
  • Assist with developing project management plans
  • Assist with review and submittal of project invoices
  • Assist with accounts receivable and collections
  • Provide subconsultant management support
