About The Position

A mid-sized manufacturing firm in South Seattle is seeking a Project Coordinator for a 6-month contract-to-hire position. This role requires full-time onsite presence from Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch break. The position demands a pre-employment drug and background check.

Responsibilities

Lead the integration of new customer programs from contract award through production readiness, including detailed planning, risk assessment, and milestone tracking.
Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to translate customer specifications into actionable internal plans.
Coordinate the setup of new part numbers, routings, work instructions, tooling/masking requirements, chemical processing parameters, and quality controls.
Facilitate internal and external kick-off meetings, program reviews, and gate reviews to ensure alignment and progress.
Track and report on program status, risks, issues, and key performance indicators such as on-time delivery, first-pass yield, and cost performance.
Support customer communications regarding program milestones, changes, and issue resolution.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, customer, and quality requirements during program launch.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and lessons learned to enhance future program integrations.
Assist in capacity planning and resource allocation for new programs across multiple facilities.
