About The Position

The Project Coordinator / Synthesis Lead will work closely with the Program Director to organize, synthesize, and present the full body of work produced through the Doris Duke Conservation Scholars Program Collaborative. This role is responsible for ensuring that existing data, narratives, and materials are coherently integrated into a high-quality final report and companion Living Archive, suitable for funders, partners, and long-term public use.

Requirements

  • Familiarity and experience with the work produced through the Doris Duke Conservation Scholars Program Collective required.

Responsibilities

  • Data, Materials, and Narrative Synthesis
  • Coordinate with the Program Director to organize, collate, and synthesize existing program data and materials.
  • Review, refine, and augment existing interview outcomes, qualitative syntheses, and draft reports.
  • Review, organize, and support synthesis of survey data in collaboration with the Director.
  • Collect, curate, and organize testimonials, videos, stories, and other narrative materials for inclusion in reports and the Living Archive.
  • Report Production and Design Coordination
  • Identify and work with a professional graphic artist and editor to support report formatting, layout, and presentation of results.
  • Identify and coordinate with a dissertation or document editor to ensure clarity, consistency, and professional polish.
  • Collaborate with the graphic artist on development of the final report cover and visual presentation.
  • Coordinate with Laura to prepare and present results in a professional, funder-ready final report.
  • Living Archive Development
  • Conduct and coordinate interviews with contributors to the Living Archive website, including alumni, faculty, and internship hosts.
  • Reach out to faculty partners and internship hosts to solicit participation and materials.
  • Co-design the Living Archive website in collaboration with the Program Director, including overall organization, narrative flow, and visual style.
  • Coordinate with the website designer to support website development, review, and publication.
  • Program Support and Closeout
  • Serve as Acting Director on an as-needed basis, supporting continuity of leadership and decision-making.
  • Assist Laura with grant closeout activities and final deliverables as necessary.
