We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our distribution system team. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, grow, and contribute to meaningful infrastructure projects, including major projects, reject poles, maintenance jobs, and other reliability projects. You’ll play a key role in organizing documentation, coordinating design activities, supporting engineering reviews, and maintaining communication with utility representatives and agency staff. Requirements

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required) and ability to work with Power BI for data tracking and reporting.
  • Proficiency with project management platforms and technology tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and team members.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

  • DDS experience and knowledge of medium voltage distribution systems preferred.
  • Familiarity with utility design, public right-of-way processes, or utility permitting preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in project coordination or administration preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineering and utility teams to facilitate the review and approval of utility encroachment requests and ensure compliance with program requirements.
  • Coordinate, oversee, and schedule processes and procedures for supplying electric power with key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with the lead designer and project manager to provide up-to-date information on project status and deliverables.
  • Continue to engage with the design team to ensure work requests are actively developed, designed accurately, and completed in a timely manner.
  • Provide project oversight and progress updates and report to clients during meetings to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Maintain organized records of project correspondence, permits, drawings, and related documents, including schedules and progress reports.
  • Utilize technology tools to track critical path tasks and ensure timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate meetings, communications, and workflow among cross-functional teams.
  • Assist in developing and refining program processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Understand final construction prints and job packages to support construction activities.
