About The Position

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the execution of an oil and gas facility project located on the North Slope of Alaska. In this role, you will assist the Project Engineer with coordinating and overseeing various aspects of the project to ensure it progresses efficiently, stays within budget, and meets deadlines. The Project Coordinator will play a key role in tracking project activities, managing documentation, and supporting the smooth communication between internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or a related technical field) or a related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or a related field, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
  • Basic understanding of oil and gas projects, including design, procurement, and construction processes.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar).
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and track project activities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to identify potential issues and proactively assist in resolving them.
  • Comfortable working in remote and extreme environments, including the North Slope of Alaska.

  • Experience in remote or Arctic environments.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Engineer in coordinating daily project activities, ensuring alignment between construction and commissioning teams.
  • Manage and maintain project documentation, including project plans, technical drawings, contracts, reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Help track the progress of the project schedule, monitor milestones, and update timelines.
  • Assist in tracking procurement activities, ensuring timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
  • Help monitor project expenses and support the Project Engineer in tracking costs.
  • Facilitate communication between different project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Support field operations by coordinating with construction and commissioning teams.
  • Assist the Project Engineer in identifying potential risks and helping to mitigate them.
  • Assist the Project Engineer in preparing regular progress reports for internal stakeholders and clients.
