We are currently accepting applications for an Project Coordinator -  Mechanical Engineer in San Diego with an HVAC focus.

Requirements

• Ideal candidates will possess a BSME, BSEE or BSAE w/mechanical or electrical specialty, EIT 4 years' experience in the engineering design and/or evaluation of building mechanical and HVAC. Candidates with PE licensure may be considered for an Associate level position.
• Demonstrated communication skills, problem solving skills, and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems is required, along with a fundamental knowledge of electrical and fire protection systems
• Candidates will possess a working knowledge of national and state building codes for HVAC systems
• The ability to communicate in a professional manner, remain organized, and multitask are essential
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and/or PlanGrid
• Candidates should have the ability to: Operate a computer (keyboarding) and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copier/scanner/printer
• Use visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screens
• Move through construction and existing building sites over rough terrain
• See and respond to dangerous situations
• Respond quickly to sounds
• Ascend and descend ladders and stairs
• Move safely through confined spaces and narrow paths
• Work in outdoor weather conditions or unconditioned areas
• Travel to sites, local and regional

• Construction Admin experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and inspections of HVAC systems
• Compare construction documents with physical installation
• Provide written reports regarding level of compliance
• Interact with site personnel and clients
• Travel to project site(s) is required daily in San Diego area
