Bright Light Medical Imaging is seeking a highly organized Imaging Compliance & Operations Project Coordinator to lead accreditation readiness, regulatory compliance, and key operational initiatives across our growing outpatient imaging network. This role combines hands-on imaging compliance oversight with project management responsibilities supporting multi-site operations, new initiatives, and continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

  • 2+ years healthcare operations, imaging, compliance, or project coordination experience
  • Strong organizational and project management skills

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of outpatient imaging workflows preferred
  • Familiarity with ACR, MQSA, IEMA, or accreditation processes preferred
  • Working knowledge of EHR systems and documentation tools preferred
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Responsibilities

  • Maintain compliance with ACR, RadSite, MQSA, FDA, and Illinois IEMA regulations
  • Lead accreditation cycles and maintain continuous inspection readiness
  • Coordinate physicists, modality leads, and vendors for regulatory requirements
  • Maintain policies, credential tracking, equipment logs, and compliance documentation
  • Oversee modality-specific QC programs (MRI, CT, Mammography, X-ray)
  • Monitor radiation safety practices, repeat rates, audits, and quality metrics
  • Support workflow improvement and standardization across imaging sites
  • Manage operational and compliance-related projects across multiple locations
  • Support implementation of new services, equipment, and quality initiatives
  • Coordinate timelines, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project success
