Hexagon's Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) is seeking a Project Manager Coordinator to join our team. The Project Coordinator is responsible for managing software implementation projects of medium and high complexity from initiation to completion for Hexagon customers under the PMO. Candidates should have strong written and verbal communication skills, be able to think critically, lead and manage teams effectively, and be skilled problem-solvers. Primary focus of the Project Coordinator is to manage/coordinate projects to successful conclusion with high customer satisfaction within the project constraints of budget, time, and resources. This full-time position provides a clear career path for talented and high-performing individuals. Preferred location in the Houston, Texas area with the ability to be in the office 1-2 days per week. Will consider a recent graduate that has the right skillset.

  • Project coordinating and engaging clients on software implementation projects for Hexagon's various products with budgets ranging from $20k to $1M.
  • Manage Coordinating and engaging from 6 - 30 projects.
  • Adhere to Hexagon's Smart Services Methodology (SSM), which governs process and procedure for project management activities.
  • Prepare scopes and contracts.
  • Manage and control for each project: Budget and Actuals, Project Risk and Issue Management, Project Scope Management, Resource planning and reporting, Weekly and monthly reporting (internal and external), Customer files: proper storage and retention.
  • Create and maintain trust and rapport within the project team and with the customer throughout the project.
  • Practice effective written and verbal communication both internally and externally.
  • Work with Services and Sales management teams on project escalations and risks.
  • Client opportunity development.
  • Complete Project Performance Evaluations on team members.
  • Achieve referenceable customers through successful project implementations.
  • Conduct business ethically.
  • Some international travel could be required for certain projects.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned.
  • Ability to work in the Houston, Texas office 1-2 days per week.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • PMP (or comparable certification) is beneficial but not required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing or coordinating projects.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with software implementations.
  • Firm grasp of software implementation methodologies (waterfall, iterative, Agile).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications required.
  • Experience with project scheduling software required.
  • Experience with organizational change management required.
  • Project management tools and applications, including scheduling software.
  • Fluent in English and nice to have Spanish or French.
  • Ability to travel 10-15% as required.
