About The Position

Working alongside the Director of Engineering at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, we are seeking a Project Coordinator who will be responsible for overseeing the engineering operations of the hotel, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective management of all related systems and equipment. Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and as-built blueprints
• Strong communication skills to ensure all parties have accurate, up to date information and are promptly informed of any project changes
• Proficient in HotSos and Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Strong understanding of building systems, safety protocols, and energy management regulations
• Must have flexible availability to work on weekends and holidays (as needed)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with hotel departments to ensure the efficient and cost-effective operation of all engineering systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related systems.
• Schedule project meetings with all involved properties and take detailed meeting minutes.
• Create project schedules, monitor progress, and make or recommend adjustments to keep projects on track.
• Maintain accurate records of engineering activities and inspections, including annual, semi-annual, and quarterly reports.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and quality completion of work.
