About The Position

The Project Coordinator will support the Housing Divisional Director in planning, organizing, and implementing various projects aimed at enhancing agency programming and services. This role involves grant writing, policy development, research, and fundraising to ensure successful project execution.

Requirements

  • Background in management, grant writing, and policy writing.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong relationship-building abilities with diverse teams.
  • Demonstrates integrity, adaptability, attention to detail, and self-motivation.
  • Ability to work independently with strong decision-making abilities.
  • Valid Ohio Driver's License and ability to meet agency requirements for driving insurability.
  • Must meet agency requirements for criminal background check (Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification & Investigation).
  • Prefer an undergraduate degree and advanced degree; relevant experience can substitute for educational experience.
  • At least 5 years of demonstrated success in project management; experience in grant writing and non-profit management required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop plans for success and completion of assigned projects, including maintaining a project timeframe, objectives, and communications.
  • Create and manage documentation and reports for all assigned projects.
  • Research best practices to assist with the development and review of program procedures.
  • Plan all aspects of staff training activities under the direction of the supervisor.
  • Support Directors in managing projects as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Attend meetings on behalf of or with the Divisional Director when requested, maintaining accurate minutes, records, or reports related to meetings as appropriate.
  • Utilize and manage volunteers to help with projects as appropriate.
  • Assist in building financial and in-kind support for housing programs through preparation of or assisting with grants and fundraising activities.
  • Attend agency staff meetings and staff development activities.
  • Comply with agency policies and procedures, COA regulations, federal and state requirements, and educational/certification/registry requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
